Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Multivara when you use the service. Plain language, EU-compliant, no dark patterns.

Effective: 2026-04-22

Acceptance of terms

By creating a workspace or using any part of Multivara, you agree to these terms. If you're using Multivara on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

The service

Multivara is an omnichannel messaging platform. You connect channels (WhatsApp Business, email, Telegram, and others), we route incoming messages into a shared inbox, and we help you reply. You retain full ownership of your data and the credentials you bring. Channel providers remain controlled by their respective owners; see /privacy for the full sub-processor and channel-provider disclosure.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, for every action taken under your account, and for ensuring your team uses Multivara in compliance with applicable law — including notifying your end customers about automated message handling where your local privacy law requires it.

Acceptable use

You may not use Multivara to send spam, harass individuals, circumvent channel-provider rate limits, or violate any provider's terms (Meta WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, Telegram ToS, etc.). You may not reverse-engineer the service, attempt to bypass billing or security controls, or resell access without written permission.

Your data

You own your data. We process it on your behalf under the Data Processing Agreement linked from /privacy. We delete your data within 30 days of workspace deletion unless a statutory retention requirement applies. You can export your conversations at any time via the API.

AI-assisted features

Reply suggestions, summarisation, and similar AI features use Anthropic's Claude API under terms that prohibit training on customer data. AI outputs are probabilistic and may be incorrect; you are responsible for reviewing messages before sending. Multivara is not liable for content generated via AI assistance that you choose to send.

Billing

Plans are billed in advance. Fees for the current period are non-refundable, but you can cancel for the next period at any time. Channel-provider costs (e.g. WhatsApp conversation fees, SMS segment charges) are passed through at cost and billed separately. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

Availability

We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance where practical. Channel providers operate independently; an outage at Meta, Google, or Telegram is not a Multivara outage.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multivara's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms is capped at the amount you paid Multivara in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, except where such exclusion is forbidden by mandatory consumer law.

Termination

You may delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Provisions on data ownership, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are announced at least 30 days before taking effect, via the email on your account and via the banner in Multivara. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply where they grant you stronger rights.
